I first met Paula about seven years ago when I walked into a my new job at London marketing agency, Proximity. She was on my team and sat opposite me for a good few months (poor Paula!). Jump on to 2015 and I was lucky enough to be her wedding photographer at Bury Court Barn, as she wed the man with the best name in the world – Mr Lovesy. It’s clear though that these guys have lots of love, and Paula jumped at the chance to become Mrs Lovesy for good reasons beyond just having a super cool surname now. It’s always really special doing a friend’s wedding and just makes for an even better day for me. It’s also great for Paula as she could feel relaxed and herself – hopefully!
The Barn at Bury Court is a fantastic wedding venue. Set in the rolling fields of Hampshire, it provides a great setting for a summer wedding. Complete with gorgeous gardens, lots of open space and most of all with rooms on site the whole day, your whole day can take place there – meaning a lovely relaxed order of events for everyone.
We had a lot of fun and everything went to plan. We were particularly blessed with a five minute window of amazing red sunset light – which I was so chuffed that we made the most of. I always say to my couples – grab the opportunities and they certainly did as we ran for the nearby cornfield and made some magic.
Paula and Mat are a really special couple and having witnessed their day (and their blossoming relationship via Instagram selfies) I know they’re going to have many years of happiness together.
Thanks so much for having me along guys!
