This was a particularly fantastic wedding, in a stunning Welsh setting. Cors Y Gedol Hall, near Barmouth, made the perfect venue for Alex and Nicola’s special day. It has so much character and provides a wonderful background for wedding photography.
Alex and Nicola are probably one of the most suited couples I’ve ever met. Truly – they fit together so well. I love that they have so many shared interests and it really shone throughout their wedding day. Although they live across the border in England, Wales is a really special place for them both and so Cors Y Gedol Hall was ideal for them. Alex loves his sports and it was no surprise cricket was a key part of the activities for the day!
There is so much going for Cors Y Gedol Hall – I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about having their wedding there. It has a great room for your wedding breakfast and ensuing dancing, but also two other buildings with accommodation where the respective weddings parties can stay and get ready prior to the wedding. It was great to have the whole day in one place.
This was meant to be a bit of a preview blog post but it somehow ended up growing a bit this evening as I couldn’t cut it down. So perhaps I will call this Nicola and Alex’s extended highlights blog post. Either way sit back and enjoy this great Cors Y Gedol Hall wedding. It was an absolute cracker!
I’ve known Alex since university days so it was extra special for me to be asked to document his day. Thanks to you both for having me along!
