It was amazing to be a wedding photographer at the stunning Lake Bled in Slovenia. Simon and Jemma chose to marry at Lake Bled in Slovenia and asked me to be their Lake Bled wedding photographer, to get some memorable Lake Bled wedding photos. I was more than happy when asked! Destination weddings are that little bit special and this was no exception. Armed with 45 guests from the UK they put on an amazing day at Lake Bled, at what can only be described as a fairytale location to get married and for wedding photography. I hope you agree that their Lake Bled wedding photographs were testament to this.
I started the day at Villa Alice – a very cool boutique hotel in the town. The morning was relaxed, fun and from a photographer’s point of view wonderful as the light was just perfect. The legal ceremony was at the Grand Hotel Toplice on the edge of Lake Bled, before we headed to the church in the centre of the Lake on boats for the religious ceremony. It was so much fun rowing out there and then seeing Simon do the customary 99 steps up to the church carrying his bride. To add to the occasion the bride and groom had an army of additional well wishes from South Korea – visiting the island on holiday (a popular destination I understand!).
After a memorable ceremony we headed back to Grand Hotel Toplice for a brilliant wedding breakfast and party and more Lake Bled wedding photography. The service there was excellent and the food fabulous. Everyone has a brilliant time and alot of laughs were had. Apart from a little shower it really was the perfect day and one I’ll certainly never forget.
A special mention to Primavera who put on the day – they are experts in Lake Bled weddings and I’d highly recommend them.
Since I went to Lake Bled I’ve been asked to a few times now to capture destination weddings there so do get in touch if you’re interested – do take a look through these Lake Bled wedding photographs. Prices start from £1995.
It was such an amazing wedding and one I’m so thankful to have been a part of. Thanks Simon and Jemma for having me along for this one at Lake Bled, Slovenia.

I’m so excited to share some Heythrop Park wedding photography with you today! Wow what a wedding this was – on probably the most perfect June day – in the most wonderful part of England, the Cotswolds.
I visited Hannah at her parents home in the morning to document the morning’s events, before we all headed to Witney Methodist Church for a lovely, warm and genuine ceremony.
The rest of the day took place at the prestigious, and rather grand, Heythrop Park. A classic wedding venue with oodles of character and which is well equipped for a classic traditional wedding. Being a wedding photographer at Heythrop Park is a real pleasure. It makes for the perfect backdrop for wedding photography.
Here are a few preview wedding photographs from Heythrop Park that caught my eye – more to follow in a couple of weeks. Have an amazing honeymoon Dave and Hannah and I look forward to sharing more when you’re back! You guys are truly awesome and I absolutely love being part of your day and documenting such a special moment in your lives. I hope you’re able to treasure these photos for years to come!
Enjoy the Heythrop Park wedding photography!
