I aim to make every family shoot enjoyable, relaxed, and meaningful.
There’s nothing overly staged or traditional about my sessions. My shoots are a mix of portraits and documentary-style moments — capturing you interacting naturally with your children. The result is authentic, relaxed, and full of life.
• Outdoor sessions for children over one year old allow little ones to roam, play, and be themselves. Local parks are ideal for relaxed, fun shoots.
• Indoor sessions for babies, in the comfort of your own home, provide a calm, intimate environment where we can document your new addition’s story.
My Approach to Family Photography
I’ve been photographing families since 2011, working with over 300 families. My clients often comment on my patience, calm presence, and enthusiasm, and how I interact naturally with their children.
The goal is simple: to make you feel at ease and capture photos you will truly love. Over time, these photos become even more special.
I work across Sussex and Surrey and will cover London for a small additional travel fee.

For families not ready for a full shoot, I run mini shoot days twice a year (Spring and Autumn). These are quick, fun sessions for a set fee, with options to purchase additional photos.

Pay the session fee (non-refundable deposit) and we’ll agree on a date and location.

Yes! I’ll give tips on what to aim for and what to avoid. My style is authentic — I want you to feel like yourselves.
Yes, with advance notice — £25/person. For larger family groups, I provide a bespoke quote.
Don’t worry — I’ve worked with hundreds of families. I’m skilled at capturing those perfect split-second expressions amidst the chaos.
Babies: any time of year (winter sessions between 10am–1pm for natural light)
Outdoor family shoots: March–November (spring/summer evenings are stunning; autumn is popular for colours)
There’s no wrong age! Babies 6+ months are expressive and able to sit up, while toddlers walking and beyond are perfect for playful family sessions.
Absolutely. As a dad of an 11 and 8-year-old, I know children well, and I’ve worked with hundreds of families. I’m calm, patient, and fun!
Yes. While I love showcasing my work, I respect families who prefer privacy.
Yes! I know plenty of great spots across Sussex and Surrey that work beautifully for family sessions.
