After all that thinking about it over the years you’re getting married!
I got engaged myself in August 2019 so I know exactly how you’re feeling right now.
You’re so excited and absolutely buzzing. But you’re also feeling a bit overwhelmed and slightly daunted by how much there is to planning a wedding, and of course choosing a photographer to capture the most important day of your life.
I often say choosing a wedding photographer is a bit like online dating. There are so many of us on offer and everyone has different tastes and different things they are looking for. It’s about finding the right one for you, the perfect match – someone who you’re really excited to work with (I think it’s so so important you are buzzing to book them!) and someone you can absolutely trust with such a crucial role. There is no doubt choosing who will document your day is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make with your wedding.

You’re a down-to-earth couple, fun, warm couple who generally hate having your photo taken!!
You know you definitely don’t want to be having lots of posed photos and for anything awkward and cheesy!
You want someone to come along and capture the moments as they happen and all the emotions (the happiness and the joy) of the day
You don’t want someone who is traditional and boring – you want classy, stunning, creative wedding photos
You know you want a few beautiful photos of the two of you looking amazing and super happy (but you don’t want to be away for hours having a photo shoot!)
You’ll admit you want photos you will be proud of (but also to have all the ones your parents will want to!)
You want a photographer who goes the extra mile, who is passionate and who actually loves going to weddings!
You want a photographer that cares about you and your wedding – who wants to get know you, and who will get on with your family and best mates!

I’m Jonny – a full time Surrey wedding and family
photographer, based near Epsom, Surrey.
I photograph weddings anywhere anyone wants
to take me! Since I started in 2011 I have been
fortunate enough to shoot in New York, Mexico,
Ibiza, Santorini, France, Italy, Slovenia, Germany,
Switzerland, Ireland and all across the UK! I love to
travel and experience new places and thrive on the
adventure!
I consider myself to have the best job in the world. I
do what I do first and foremost because I genuinely
enjoy it and love all things weddings (I’ve shot
300 now over the last 9 years and find myself as
passionate as ever!)
Above all I am a people person and it ’s that
personal approach that is at the heart of what I do!
I love to get to know my couples on a personal level
