Jonny MP Juniors is dedicated to giving you photos of you and your baby or children, that are full of life, emotion and most of all bags of feeling. I work across all of Surrey and South and West London.
As a father of two children my self I know how special children are and I know how fast they grow up! Having children of my own has driven my passion for family photography. I believe family photos are priceless!

My approach to family photography
There is nothing traditional or overly staged about my family photos. My shoots are a combination of portraits and documentary style moments of you all interacting. The resulting photos are natural, not overly posed and most of all are full of life.
I love to capture your children’s personalities, their cheeky facial expressions and their interactions with you as their parent(s).
I believe the best way to do this is generally outdoors for children over a year old – where your little ones can roam free! You want your family to be relaxed and having fun and so heading to a local park is a great way to make it a really enjoyable session.
For baby photography I will always do shoots indoors – coming to your home and providing a relaxed shoot in your own environment, where we can tell the story of your new addition.

I have been photographing families since 2011 and have worked with over 250 families in that time and so you can be assured you’re in safe hands!
Those who have worked with me have complimented me on my patience, my calm presence, the way I interact with their children and my enthusiasm. Most of all everyone says I made them feel at ease – which is key thing for getting photos you will love.
I take great pleasure in knowing that they all have photos that they can look back on and cherish.
There is no doubt that photos like these grow even more special as the years go by!
I work all across Surrey. I can do shoots in London and further afield but there is a £50 travel fee for these.

What's included:
A pre-shoot call on the phone to go through everything and advise you on what to wear
All image processing and editing
100+ images in a private online gallery from which you can choose which you want to purchase
The shoot fee is based on one family – one or two parents and their children. Additional family members, such as grandparents, are £25 per person.
Prices above include travel up to 15 miles from KT21 (Epsom, Surrey)
I will travel up to 1 hour for family shoots for £50 extra (£80 for central, east and north London)
A one and a half hour, on location, shoot in Surrey (I can go further but it does cost a little more)
For those who want the full experience and more natural, creative and variety. This is suitable for those want at home shoots or a session outdoors and/or who want to include additional family members such as grandparents (to make it a 'three generation' (3G) shoot).

After the shoot within 2 weeks you will be sent your images to view in your private online gallery and you will have a week to choose which images you’d like to go for.
I appreciate that these days most people want the digital files to have the freedom to use the images as they wish so this is why I just offer digital files.
Though I can happily recommend you places to get your prints and wall art produced.

As a guide I’m generally booked 6-8 weeks out for weekends but weekdays are far more available and you can often book on short notice.

FAQ
What happens if it’s raining on the day of the shoot?
Worry not, we will simply postpone and of course there is no penalty for this. I want to give you amazing photos and if everyone is wet and soggy this is not going to happen!
How do I book?
To secure your family shoot booking you simply pay the session fee (this is a non-refundable deposit) and then we agree a date and location.
What areas do you cover?
I predominantly work in Surrey, though I’m happy to travel into London for an additional £80 fee, and to home counties within an hour of KT21, for an additional £50 fee.
Do you tell us what to wear?
I don’t get very prescriptive but I will give you some hints and tips of what to aim for and what to avoid! My style is very authentic so I prefer you to feel you as much as possible.
Can I bring extra people to the shoot?
Yes you’re welcome to bring extra people like your parents. This will need to be confirmed in advance is £25 per person. If you are wanting a big family group shoot get in touch and I will give you a bespoke cost.
I’m worried my kids won’t play ball on the day!
This is a common concern for many parents but to reassure you I’ve worked with hundreds of families and every single time there are magical moments captured. My strength is being able to squeeze that split second expression, amongst the mayhem!
What is the best time of year for photos?
For baby photos all year is fine, though in the winter months I’d want to do the shoot between 10 and 1pm when we can utilise natural window light. For outdoor shoots March to November are the best months. I love shooting in spring and summer in the evenings when the light is amazing and of course Autumn is generally the most popular time of year due to the beautiful colours!
What is the best age for photos?
There is no hard and fast rule because ultimately every age is special and unique. That said for babies I slightly favour shooting them when they are a little older (6 months plus) when they are little more expressive and able to sit up. Once your little one(s) are walking then this really becomes the perfect age for family photos!
Are you good with kids?
Well I’m a Dad myself to an 11 and 8 year old so I’m very used to being around children! I’ve also photographed over 250 families so I am very experienced. Parents have fed back that I am really calm, fun and most of all patient!
Is OK to keep our photos private?
Whilst I do love to share my family work on my website and social media, I do understand some families prefer to keep the photos private and this is absolutely fine with me.
Can you recommend places for our shoot?
Yes absolutely. I have lots of places that are brilliant and that I know work well across Surrey!
