This past Saturday I had the absolute joy of capturing Molly & Oscar’s wedding at the stunning Acorn Barn in Oxfordshire. From start to finish, their day was filled with excitement, happiness, and pure joy – the kind of atmosphere that makes documenting weddings such a privilege!
Molly, a dedicated PT, looked breathtaking in her Grace Loves Lace gown – effortlessly elegant and perfectly suited to her warm, fun personality. The finishing touch? The most incredible florals by Freyja-Rose Floral Design, which brought the whole setting to life with colour and texture.
They chose to keep their ceremony beautifully intimate, inviting just their 20 nearest family and friends to witness their vows. It was heartfelt, personal, and deeply emotional – the sort of ceremony that makes you feel every single word. Later, the evening opened up to 60 more guests, transforming the barn into the ultimate party space. The dancefloor was alive all night, and it was impossible not to get swept up in the energy!
As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer, I always focus on a natural and candid approach. I want couples to feel relaxed in front of the camera, so I capture moments as they unfold rather than staging them. Molly & Oscar’s wedding was the perfect example of why I love this style: the laughter, the tears, the stolen glances, and the wild dance moves – all documented exactly as they happened.
