I’ve just got back yesterday evening from Italy where I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Phil and Emily’s Tuscany destination wedding at Il Castagno! Il Castagno is an amazing place to get married and it was one incredible day (and weekend!). Italy really is the destination wedding dream – amazing food, stunning scenery, beautiful Tuscan architecture and those dreamy sunsets! I would recommend a Il Castagno wedding to anyone looking for a venue is Tuscany for sure.

Phil and Emily put a huge amount of time into planning their Il Castagno wedding and it totally paid off – with the best time for all their guests! The weather held off and they had a lovely outdoor ceremony on the lawn, before it was drinks and glorious Italian food (oh the food was SO good!). The four course wedding breakfast was a true feast in every way! The speeches were awesome and then the party was something else! Being a DJ (amongst many other talents he has!) Phil pre-mixed a corker of a party set which it’s safe to say got everyone well in the party mood! Definitely up there with the best I’ve ever experienced!

Phil and Emily were so good to work with and get to know! Emily looked so amazing (see photos below!) and Phil scrubbed up well too in his blue suit! Phil’s energy is pretty impressive too – I don’t think I’ve seen a groom so pumped all day (and night!). They were both so happy which made being theirIl Castagno wedding photographer a real treat! Thanks to all their friends and family too – it was great to hang out with you!
