Sophie and Ryan’s beautiful summer celebration at The Pear Tree was everything you could hope for in an English country wedding – elegant, relaxed, and filled with so much genuine joy.
Set in the Wiltshire countryside, The Pear Tree is one of those venues that feels effortlessly romantic. The Georgian Manor house, light-filled orangery, and immaculate gardens create the perfect backdrop for natural, storytelling photography. It’s no surprise that Pear Tree weddings are always such a dream to capture.
From the moment I arrived, there was such a calm and happy atmosphere. Sophie got ready in the stunning bridal suite, natural light pouring through the windows as her Mum helped her into her dress. Meanwhile, Ryan and the groomsmen got ready in the beautiful library area.
The outdoor ceremony space was bathed in golden summer light. As Sophie walked down the aisle, you could see the emotion written all over Ryan’s face – one of my favourite moments of the day. After confetti and congratulations, guests spilled out onto the terrace for drinks and canapés, making the most of the warm weather.
One of the best things about pear tree weddings is how seamlessly the day flows. We explored the gardens for relaxed couple portraits, using the soft greenery and beautiful surroundings to create timeless images without taking Sophie and Ryan away from their guests for too long.
As the sun began to set, we snuck away for a few golden hour portraits – that soft summer glow adding the perfect finishing touch to an incredible day. The evening ended with dancing, hugs, and a packed epic dance floor led by the Distractions Band!
