It was a 650 mile round trip to go to the Lake District for Esther and Adam’s Silverholme Manor wedding but I’d do that drive any day for a wedding as awesome as this! You’re in for a treat!

Esther and Adam are super nice people and so positive and have bags of energy (Esther makes me look quiet!!!) Their wedding was really unique and such great inspiration for any one looking to get married a bit differently and to do a day that reflects you as a couple (rather than follow the traditions!)

It was also a great example of what to do when it rains (for most of the day!). Despite the inclement weather Esther was still so happy and got on with having an awesome day – despite her hair and dress being attacked by the rain non-stop! Hats off to you Esther for staying so upbeat! And it worked because come 6pm the sun came out and all was well!

These guys hired a stunning manor house over looking Lake Windermere and got 60 of their best friends and family to come along for one big party! It was out with the formality of a traditional wedding breakfast and in with street food stalls (so so good!!!) and activities for guests (clay pigeon shooting and rib boat rides!) – oh and the coolest band all the way from Brighton (Voodoo Love Orchestra!)

Esther’s and Adam’s energy was off the charts for their Silverholme Manor wedding! They were so so happy all day and so much fun. They couldn’t have made me feel more welcome and more loved! I felt like one of their own!

The whole day was at Silverholme which made the day really relaxed. The ceremony was in the coach house and then the food stalls, and tipi tent, out by the house. The set-up was brilliant and it felt like a mini festival!
